Red Sails in the Sunset

This painting is so relaxing to look at even digitally.  It makes me think of this Red Sails in the Sunset...

Red Sails In The Sunset
Lyrics
Was down where fisher folk gathered
I wandered far from the throng
I heard a fisher girl singin'
And this refrain was her song
Red sails in the sunset way out on the sea
Oh carry my loved one home safely to me
He sailed at the dawning, all day I've been blue
Red sails in the sunset, I'm trusting in you
Swift wings you must borrow, make straight for the shore
We marry tomorrow and he goes sailing no more
Red sails in the sunset way out on the sea
Oh carry my loved one home safely to me
Swift wings you must borrow, make straight for the shore
We marry tomorrow and he goes sailing no more
Red sails in the sunset way out on the sea
Oh carry my loved one home safely to me

Friday Art focus 20160513

Hello all:  my art focus this Friday  is on mixed media canvas landscapes.  I am using acrylic paint, markers (various), paint pens, and water colors paints.  I made three canvases at the same time while one was drying I would work on the other.

What did I Learn:  I seem to get better and mite confident  overall as progressed through each painting.  My theme was to use techniques like Bob Ross

Here is my mountain range

What is your focus this week in Art? (Onion)
